Dr. Meier and his family have taken many subjects which teenagers face and have discussed problems and emotions in short chapters. He discusses the fact that teenagers are neither kids nor adults, while sometimes they may display traits of both. Some of the traits he discusses are worry, gloom, anger and bitterness, acting out, lack of confidence, weight change, sleep problems, reduced social contact, and religious extremism. Having six children of his own and having studied adolescent psychiatry in medical school, he is ready to help others seek out help during those tough times in life.
