“Compelled by Love, A Journey to Missional Living” by Phillip Nation with Ed Setzer will be our study for the next 5 weeks. This study is the designated doctrinal study for the 2010/2011 church year. Join us at 5:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall for a look at how to live out the Gospel in our everyday lives.
“Just Ask”
“Just Ask” is the theme for our high attendance emphasis in September. Statistics tell us if we will just ask people to join us for Bible study and/or worship, they will come at least once to check us out. Please pray about who you can “Just Ask.”
Music & Missions Kickoff
Wednesday, September 1 at 5:30 p.m. – All children (1st – 5th grade) should meet in the fellowship hall to begin. They will spend time with the children’s choir leaders, the mission leaders, and Bro. Jonathan. As a part of their time together there will be a snack meal for the kids. This is a great opportunity for our children to invite school friends to be involved in our children’s ministry and introduce them to our leaders.
GROW
Tuesday, September 7 – 6:45 p.m. – All “G” teamers and any others who want to participate should come out to help reach out to our prospects and the community at large.
Children’s Committee
We will meet on Sunday, September 12, at 4:30 p.m. in the Ross SS room. All members need to be in attendance as we finalize plans for “Trunk or Treat.”
