Serving is a great way to use your gifts, connect with others, and make a difference at Northside. The teams below are currently looking for volunteers. Click any image to request more information. There's no obligation to sign up.
Wee Care
Help care for children from birth through age 3 during Sunday morning worship. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, and those under 18 serve alongside an adult. No adult is ever alone with a child.

Security Patrol
Help us provide a safe and welcoming environment during Sunday and Wednesday services. Two-person teams help monitor our building and grounds and assist with securing the building after services begin.
This is not an armed security team. Our focus is simply being observant, prepared, and proactive about the safety of our church family.

Ushers
Our Ushers help make Sunday worship run smoothly by assisting with the offering and other needs during the service. Volunteers serve on a flexible schedule, and our Usher Captains coordinate the team each Sunday.

First Impressions Team
Love people? Help us make everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome!
First Impressions volunteers greet members and guests, answer questions, and help create a friendly atmosphere on Sunday mornings. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

Choir
Our Worship Choir helps lead the congregation in worship most Sunday mornings and regularly shares special music.
Anyone age 13 or older is invited to join. No audition or previous musical training is required, just a desire to worship God and be part of the team.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:10 PM.

Tech Team
You don't have to be a tech expert to serve on our Tech Team. We'll provide the training! Opportunities include:
SOUND
Help make sure music, speaking, and other audio are clear and balanced during worship.
LIGHTS & LYRICS
Operate our worship presentation and lighting, including displaying song lyrics, Scripture, images, and videos at the right time.
CAMERAS
Help bring our worship services to our online audience by operating cameras during our livestream.
STREAM MODERATOR
Welcome and interact with our online audience on Facebook and YouTube and help maintain a positive environment in the comments.

Photography Team
Help us capture the life of Northside through photos of worship, fellowship, ministry, outreach, and special events.
You don't need professional equipment or experience, even a smartphone and a good eye can make a difference. When photographers are needed for an event, team members will be contacted with an opportunity to serve.

Praise Band
Our Praise Band helps lead worship each Sunday morning. We're looking for additional musicians so we can expand our team, provide opportunities for more people to serve, and have substitutes available when needed.
Our current instruments include piano, keyboard, electric and acoustic guitar, bass, and drums, but if you play something else, we'd love to hear from you!
